They traced Felt back to a warehouse only to find her brutally murdered and soon, they too are overwhelmed and killed by the perpetrator of Felt’s murder.This awakens Subara’s default power which is ‘Return by Death’ which can reverse time for a short while if Subara is killed. Subara is returned to the past where he talks to the vendor just before he is attacked by the thugs.
He immediately returns to the warehouse where he finds Felt and her grandfather Rom, who are in possession of Satella’s insignia. Soon after, Elsa, the murderer in the previous timeline appears in the scene as well. Subara is able to convince Felt and Rom that his cell phone from his original world is much more valuable than Elsa’s money. Felt agrees to this deal and Subara states his intention to return the insignia. This infuriates Elsa for some reason and continues her murderous spree by killing the other three.Once again, Subara’s power is triggered and Subara is returned to the past again. Upon seeing Satella, he calls her by her name which enrages her as it means ‘Jealous Witch’ which is a taboo in the fantasy realm. Satella leaves abruptly and Subara immediately changes his approach by immediately going after Felt but is killed by the hoodlums in the alley from the first timeline.
Again, Reversal by Death is triggered.Subara decides to approach Felt directly and coerce her quickly to sell the insignia to him before Elsa arrives. He is again attacked by hoodlums in the alley and this time, a knight named Reinhart saves him. Subara instructs Reinhart to tell Satella not to come to the loot house so that he can negotiate without interference.
He runs into Elsa on the way which disrupts his original plan and he seems to be tilted as he acts suspiciously. Although the value of his cell phone is confirmed, his suspicious nature alerts Felt and Rom who decides to listen to Elsa offer. At that moment, Satella arrives despite Subara’s instruction and a battle instantly ensues between Satella and Elsa.Although Satella and Puck initially have the upper hand, Puck is forced back into his vessel because of his inability to manifest in the physical world at night. This immediately puts Satella at a disadvantage and Elsa manages to gain the upper hand, pushing Satella back. Rom is severely hurt as collateral damage during their fight and with the arrival of Reinhart, Satella is granted respite who takes her time to heal Rom.Reinhart is able to defeat Elsa with a sword technique although Elsa somehow manages to survive and dashes out a sudden vicious attack at Satella.
